Project Description
Project Pegasus began in 2015 with a talented group of STEM kids that took the capstone project to a whole new level. This project has continued throughout the years with each class completing small sections of the Vans RV-12 light sport aircraft. This year I was in a group with Michelle and Hunter and we completed the left flaperon, the map box, and the attachment of the tail cone to the fuselage of the airplane. This project is projected to be completed within the next few years and will eventually be the first ever plane built by the San Marin High School STEM students.

The Progress
This night was a very special event to attend for me being that it was the last STEM function I will be attending as a high school student. We were presented our awards and tassels that we will wear on graduation day, but we will also have all of the life lessons learned from our four years of STEM that will stick with us for many more years to come. Thank you STEM for being such a large part of my high school career and for allowing me to learn material that I will be going on to study in college.
