Evidence of Work:
This project was an interesting project pertaining to the gait of a person. The initial question was, "Can you tell a persons height just from looking at the way that they walk?". The answer to this question is yes, you can tell how tall a person is by the way that they walk. In order to complete this project, my group and I had to figure out what to measure that would help us have the correct data to figure out the height of a person by watching their gait. We measured toe to heel, heel to knee, and knee to hip as well as the time it took to walk ten steps, the time it took to walk exactly 6 meters, and the average stride length of every person that we tested.
After testing all of these things, my group and I put the data that we collected into a google spreadsheet that could show us our data next to each other so we would be able to compare each test subject. On this spreadsheet, it showed us that the taller the person, the shorter time it took to walk the 10 steps as well as the 6 meters. We found this by creating a formula, =trunc((I2^(K2/2)* which is the equivalent to the distance of ten steps raised to the distance divided by two multiplied by the average stride length. This project's major purpose was to show us how we can tell the height of a person by looking only at the way that they walk.

Context:
Gait- A person's manner of walking. This was the largest concept for this project. We calculated things like the height and weight of a person and how these would affect the way that a person walks.
Average Velocity- Displacement divided by time.
Predictive Model- is a process that uses data mining and probability to forecast outcomes. Each model is made up of a number of predictors.

Reflection:
There are many things that my teammates and I did right, but also a few things that we could improve on. I felt that my group and I did a very good job delegating certain tasks to people and getting those tasks done when we wanted them to be done like collecting the data and putting it into a spreadsheet. Another thing that I felt we really succeeded in was making our slides as clear and short as possible so everyone in the class could understand our data. I believe that this project overall was very successful.
A few things we could have managed better would probably be our time management as well as communication. With the time we were given, I believe that we could have worked more efficiently as well as split the work amongst the group more than we did. We also had a lack of communication in my group in general. We didn't all have each other's numbers which made it hard for us to communicate after school with any ideas we had. Next project I would really like to improve communication issues by getting everyone's phone numbers first and making a group chat where we can all be in touch and share our ideas as well as keep in touch over the slides and google sheets.
